HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội’s People’s Committee said on Thursday it had ordered atmospheric water generators, which extracted water from humid air, to serve locals and tourists. This is part of the memorandum of understanding on the development of atmospheric water generators signed between the city’s Department of Construction and Israel-based Water Gen Company. Atmospheric water generators can extract water from humid air, clean the air and create drinkable pure water at the same time. At 26 degrees Celcius temperature and 60 per cent humidity, the generators can extract between 446 and 3,122 litres of pure water per day depending on the size. It will be installed at schools and areas which face tap water shortage.
