KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 7): Agricultural chemical manufacturer Halex Holdings Bhd's chief financial officer and executive director Foong Tuck Fai has quit from both posts effective May 7 to pursue other personal interests. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Halex said Foong, 58, tendered his resignation today with three months' notice. According to the group's 2015 Annual Report, Foong, who joined the board on Apr 7, 2016, has more than 34 years of experience in financial management. He also specialises in implementing cost control measures, increasing operational efficiency and business streamlining exercises. Halex closed down two sen or 3.25% at 59.5 sen, with a market capitalisation of RM63.1 million.
