Halifax taxi driver accused of sex assault says his pants were unbuttoned because he preferred driving that way

Hutchinson asked Al-Rawi about his jeans, which he said were a “fitted” style and tight around the thighs and waist. Hutchinson also asked Al-Rawi about where he picked up the complainant, and where they drove that night. The complainant asked if he’d ever treat his girlfriend in such an “austere way” as she was being treated by her friend. When she got out, he noticed stains on the front passenger seat and touched the area with his thumb. She came back after one minute and opened the front passenger door and got in, but Al-Rawi told her not to because it was wet.
