SHAH ALAM: The owner of a jewellery shop in Section 23 here is glad that the display panels in her premises were equipped with high quality safety glass when six robbers struck on Monday. The 6.30pm incident saw the robbers, who were wearing full-faced helmets and armed with a pistol, facing difficulty to break the display panels despite using heavy steel hammers. Eventually, they managed to break only parts of the display glass, making do with what they could grab before fleeing. "I am very satisfied with the security glass. Mummy Joyah said her company was planning to get security glass of higher grade to replace the existing panels.
