'He was walking near Wagah Border': Ganguly's hilarious response when Musharraf asked where did he get Dhoni from

Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf was a great admirer of former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian captain and current BCCI president under whom Dhoni made his debut and flourished under his leadership, had once responded to Musharraf when the ex-president had asked where did they get Dhoni from. Ganguly, who celebrated his 49th birthday on Thursday, had shared the hilarious anecdote from the famous 2005-06 tour when he jokingly answer to Musharraf's question saying that he pulled Dhoni in when he was strolling near Wagah Border. 'I told him he was walking near the Wagah border and we pulled him in," Ganguly had recalled when he addressed a gathering in Tolygunge a few years ago. Ganguly, considered as the catalyst in India's revival as a cricketing team in the early 2000s was one of the long-term serving captains for the Indian team.
