Police in Grand Gedeh County have launched a massive hunt for a man believed to be a herbalist for his alleged involvement in the manhandling of several women, and others in the County who were accused of ‘witchcraft’ in their respective communities. According to a Correspondent of a local radio station in the County, Emmanuel Zorkor of the National Traditional Council assigned in the County was alleged to have queued out several women in a burning hot sun stripped naked under the semblance to confess the allegations leveled against them. According to the report, as a result of this inhumed treatment melted against the women and others who are always taken to him (Emmanuel Zorkor, the accused), rights advocates and women groups staged a peaceful against Zorkor, and calling on the police to arrest him. Following his arrest by the police upon the request of the women and rights groups and placed behind bars, hours later, according to the report, the man in question broke jail and fled in the bush.
