I have heard a lot of talk about people being “burned out” on Destiny this season in particular, and yet that didn’t really match up to me with what the season was actually offering. There are a lot of issues players have that have led to Destiny 2 “burnout” at the present moment, some of them conflicting, plenty of them valid. While you can have say, competitive multiplayer games that can satisfy players by simply existing and having seasonal ladders or something, Destiny 2 players will never be satisfied with the game merely existing. They need content, and probably more content that Bungie can ever produce, leading to this eternal push and pull. I think Bungie is doing the best they can, and yet I think they can still make improvements to the current system.
