Speaking in an interview on Starr FM on February 9, 2026, Baffour explained that the Amasaman High Court reduced Agradaa’s original 15-year prison sentence to a 12-month custodial term after finding the initial punishment excessive. When you are handed down a prison term, there's a remission scheme. Meaning Agradaa could be eligible for release after serving just 8 months out of the 12 months. Agradaa was initially convicted in July 2025 on charges including charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence after allegedly operating a money-doubling scheme through her ministry.
