Incentive a win-win for developer and city council, says mayorPETALING Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will allow increased plot ratio for developments that provide a link to public transportation facilities. “If the developer agrees, we will allow an increase in the plot ratio,” he said. Plot ratio determines the amount of floor area that can be built on a plot of land. A higher plot ratio means there are more units or “habitable space” in a development. “The additional cost incurred to build the link can be offset by the increased plot ratio,” Mohamad Zahri said at the launch of a link bridge that connects Damansara Avenue to Sri Damansara Sentral MRT station.
