The reality is that countless others are being tried or are about to be tried in Hong Kong for their activism work. Most twentysomethings in Hong Kong live with their parents and many middle-class households have a live-in maid. For instance, I was disheartened by the latest Six-Monthly Report on Hong Kong published by the British foreign secretary, Boris Johnson.
