The men of the League of Friends of Ludlow Hospital have dressed up in nurses’ uniforms for 20 years to raise money for improved medical facilitiesHospital bosses have turned down a £2,500 donation from a group of men who dress as nurses for an annual charity event, claiming their behaviour is sexualised and demeaning. For the past 20 years the men have gone through the streets of Ludlow dressed in blue and white nurses’ uniforms and armed with buckets for collections. Each year, they have raised between £2,500 to £6,000 for Ludlow Hospital.
