Here are four ways to know if your humility has gone too far to be effective. For instance, at a very early age, we are encouraged to say "sorry" when we make a mistake or offend someone. And some people just say sorry without an apparent reason for it, as if it's a verbal tic. This trap is one that leaders fall into when their humility has gone too far. But in the process of empowering others and seeking acceptance from those that follow them, leaders may take humility too far.
