Visitors to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights will have more time to take in a popular Nelson Mandela exhibition. The exhibition Mandela: Struggle for Freedom, which opened in June 2018, was originally scheduled to close Jan. 6. The Mandela exhibition has proven popular with visitors, the museum said in a Thursday news release. A survey in the summer found that one-third of visitors came specifically to see the Mandela exhibition. The museum will close Jan. 6 for a week of scheduled maintenance and will reopen Jan. 15.
