A Freedom of Information (FOI) request has revealed the Royal Borough’s pothole hotspots, with the rural roads of Hurley and the Walthams most blighted by craters in the road. The FOI has also outlined the top 10 roads across the borough for pothole repair orders in the same timeframe. This also led to a big increase in the amount of money the Royal Borough spent on repairs that month – £24,779 compared to £10,464 in 2025. This January saw the highest number of potholes reported for any month over the past five years, and the Royal Borough carried out 704 repairs.
