--On a beautiful September day that had the BBC painting the weather maps bright red, Hurley hosted Wooburn Narkovians in an end of season friendly. Although Hurley scored over 300 runs, the match will also be remembered for some very good catches. The loss of Cole did little to slow the run rate as Mandeep Singh (53 ret) scored at a rate of 160 per 100 balls. Kevin Dolan (7) and Ben Sidders (60) provided some stubborn resistance for Wooburn as Nigel Haines and Ravi Singh replaced the opening bowlers. Ravi got through the defences of Nolan and Haines had Sidders caught at long off by Mandeep.
