But ISIS spiritual leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has now appeared on video, showing that he is seemingly very much alive. According to analysts, the recording is similar to previous tapes of the ISIS leader, meaning it is likely the tape was recorded in the last few months. In the footage, Baghdadi calls for attacks on ‘the unbelievers’ media headquarters and ideological war centres’.
