The complaints include: misbehaving with the guardians of the students, and allotting hall seats to students attached to other halls. The students also said the provost have been influencing their department teachers, who have been threatening them in an assortment of ways. Students alleged “Does the hall belong to your father?” is one of the favorite lines of the provost when she expresses her disagreement with the students. Students were holding placards at the protest, that said “Student harassment won’t be tolerated,” “We demand the resignation of the dictatorial provost,” “VC sir we want solution,” etc.
