AMCThings continue to be up in the air regarding Lauren Cohan’s contract negotiations to return to The Walking Dead for Season 9. This week, Walking Dead overlord Scott Gimple himself was asked by TVLine about the current state of negotiations with Cohan. The thing is…if I was Lauren Cohan, barring any sort of enormous payday, I would leave The Walking Dead. AMCBut the main problem is that Cohan and Maggie are very much underutilized on The Walking Dead, and have been for years now. The Walking Dead is what she knows and has the potential to pay a lot if these negotiations get better.
