KUALA LUMPUR Illegal fireworks worth more than RM400,000 have been seized in a raid in Taman Klang Utama, Klang. "We detained two local men aged 29 and 32 for allegedly possessing and selling fireworks without valid permits. "We also seized 272 large boxes containing fireworks as well as a lorry used to transport the items. "The total value of the seized items is estimated at RM412,740," he said in a statement on Thursday (March 5). Both suspects and the seized items were taken to the North Klang police headquarters for further investigation, he added.
