The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Imo State chapter, has conducted its state congress with the re-election of the former state chairman, Prof. James Okoroma, and 15 other former state executive members. Some of the former state exco members re-elected through voice votes include the Deputy State Chairman, Demian Ezeagu; the State Publicity Secretary, Machdonald Amadi; and the State Legal Adviser, Barr. The 2026 Imo ADC Congress Committee Chairman from the ADC National Headquarters, Abuja, Mr Okem UK, conducted the congress alongside his members. He recalled the successful conduct of ward and LGA congresses held across the state without any problems, assuring that the state congress would not be different. He said that under his watch as state chairman, the party would rebuild Imo State and make it a state of choice for investors all over the world.
