CAIRO - 7 April 2020: Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that Egypt is keen on supporting Lebanon and its stability, added that his current visit comes at directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to offer all support for Lebanon to get out of its current crisis. He was greeted at the airport by his Lebanese counterpart Cherbel Wahbe and Egypt's Ambassador to Lebanon Yasser Elwi. Shoukry discussed with Lebanese Parliament Speaker the latest developments in Lebanon, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez said on Twitter. In this regard, Shoukry said President Sisi has directed the State to exert all possible efforts within the framework of communication with all Lebanese political components to help Beirut get out of its current crisis. He also emphasized that Egypt would spare no effort to continue supporting Lebanon at such a critical stage.
