India takes control in seesawing 2nd test, Australia 101-6

BANGALORE, India (AP) " Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets to spin India back into the dominant position on a see-sawing fourth day of the second test as Australia slumped to 101-6 chasing a victory target of 188. That left the hosts with just a 187-run cushion to defend, but only four visiting teams had ever scored more than that in the fourth innings to win a test in India. The departure of Rahane, lbw to Mitch Starc for 52, triggered a run of four wickets in nine balls and in the end, India lost its last six wickets for 36 runs. He had Pujara out, edging high on his bat to Mitch Marsh at gully, and bowled Ashwin (4). Australia's highest successful fourth innings chase in India was 195-2 in an eight-wicket win at the same ground in 1988 in a series they'd already conceded.
