After a long wait for the first win of Stephen Kenny's reign as Ireland manager, stand-in captain John Egan wants the side to use tomorrow's friendly away to Hungary as a way to build momentum ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in September. We did that and now we're coming up against, I suppose, an established outfit in Hungary. "I am very impressed, yeah, we have a lot of young players coming through, which is exciting. He's a great lad, he wants to learn and improve, he has a good head on his shoulders and I am sure that will take him very far," Egan added. "We have some really good centre-halves, it's really good competition.
