KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad’s role as the acting Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) chairman, will see him play a non-executive role in the government agency. She said Isa’s appoint as the acting chairman of the commission was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak on June 19. Nancy said as a statutory body established under the Public Land Transport Act 2010 and the Public Land Transport Commission Act 2010 has clearly earmarked its responsibility and power. She said as a government agency under the Prime Minister’s Department, SPAD’s good governance responsibility is shouldered by all of the commission’s members. “At the same, the government has ensured that there is a check and balance in the implementation of all the activities and operations involving SPAD.
