JOHOR BARU: A school headmaster has been arrested for allegedly beating and injuring a seven-year-old boy. Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Radin Ramlan Radin Taha said police received a report from the child's father on Tuesday (March 10) morning. "Initial investigations suggest that the incident happened at 7.39am on Tuesday at the school canteen," he said in a statement on Saturday (March 14). He said the suspect, the headmaster of a school in Johor Baru, was later arrested at 4.55pm the same day. If convicted, the suspect may be fined up to RM50,000, imprisoned for up to 20 years, or both.
