Ershad, who is contesting the polls – due on Sunday – from Dhaka 17 and Rangpur 3 constituencies, has been in Singapore for the last two weeks. Earlier, party leaders had said that even after Ershad returned, he would not be able to campaign much as his physical condition is not good, reported UNB. Like he did before the 2014 general polls, Ershad has allied his party with the ruling Awami League-led Grand Alliance.
