The Kool-BSJA Media Cup 2019 football tournament gets underway at the BFF Artificial turf in Motijheel with Jaago News and Daily Samakal winning big. In the first game of the day, Jaago News picked up a convincing win, defeating News 24 by six goals. Jaago News captain Moniruzzaman Uzzal was adjudged as man of the match for his four goals. Group G’s match featured Bangla Vision who beat Deepto TV by a solitary goal by man of the match Ibrahim Parvez. The Daily Samakal recorded a massive win as they beat Somoy TV 5-1 with Afzal Hossain picking up the man of the match for his performance.
