During a press conference in Manila on Tuesday for the Asian debut of Warner Bros. Pictures’ new movie “Aquaman,” the film’s star, Jason Momoa, shared how proud he is to give flesh to a mixed-race superhero raised by a single dad. “It’s cool that he (Aquaman) comes from single parents, mixed race. As an only child born in Hawaii to a Hawaiian father and a German, Irish and Native American mother, Jason said he can relate to the half-human, half- Atlantean Aquaman. Like Aquaman, Jason was also reportedly solely raised by his mom in Iowa. The action-packed adventure spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, and stars Momoa in the title role.
