Jehovah’s Witnesses have been holding their annual conventions at the Mount Barclay Assembly Hall since October 13, and have extended an open invitation to the public to attend through December 31. The theme of this year’s convention is, “Don’t Give Up!”The November 17 convention in Mount Barclay is a three-day event expected to be attended by an estimated 3,000 people. “There is no admission fee,” a JW statement said, because the convention is supported entirely by voluntary donations. Jehovah’s Witnesses in Liberia have organized 19 conventions – in two languages to be held in eight cities across the country. Worldwide, there are over 8,000,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses in more than 115,000 congregations.
