Sutton United have condemned racist abuse received online by new signing Jermaine Francis. The 23-year-old right winger completed a move from Hartlepool United to the U's on Wednesday and has since received a message on his Snapchat account that included racial abuse. "We can't wait to welcome Jermaine to the VBS Community Stadium and we know our superb supporters will be fully behind him, as well as the whole team, as they have been throughout the season. "We stand with Jermaine and all victims of online discriminatory abuse." Sutton have not disclosed whether the incident has been reported to official authorities.
