CAIRO – 24 January 2018: The official Facebook page of the Royal Jewelry Museum asks royal jewelry lovers to choose “the piece of the month” that they prefer the most on a monthly basis.Results will be recorded through voting by the “likes” and “comments” received for the four photos chosen by the museum this month.The Royal Jewelry Museum hosts the most valuable jewelry and other stuff that the queens and princesses of the last royal family of Egypt wore for an extensive period of time.Most jewelries in the Royal Jewelry Museum date back to the ruling period. But as an appreciation for the historical and artistic value of the royal jewelry, the General Administration of Expropriated Money took the initiative to establish a museum qualified to host these pieces.The Royal Jewelry Museum also displays the collection that dates back to the ruling period of Said Pasha, including varied golden pieces such as golden clocks and watches. The collection also includes many coins that date back to various eras, such as Roman, Persian, Byzantine and Coptic coins.
