The Blue Jays search for a new manager wasn’t much of a search at all. Approximately two weeks after they were eliminated in the American League wild-card series, the Jays removed the interim tag from manager John Schneider. The verdict seemed inevitable and yet the Jays took their time before making an official announcement because they take time with everything.
