In Gruden’s first game back with the Raiders, his team was soundly outplayed and out-coached by the Los Angeles Rams in a 33-13 loss. Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden saw his team lose by 20 points in his return to coaching after a decade in the broadcast booth. Gruden also elected to cut receiver Michael Crabtree, who caught passes for 2,543 yards in three seasons with the Raiders. Many of the Oakland home fans booed the team at game’s end. But alongside the off-season moves, Monday’s effort has many Raiders fans wondering what another decade of Gruden will bring.
