[Denish Ochieng', Standard]Teachers marking this year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations embark on the exercise on Thursday. Their letter of invitation says they must remain in the centre for the full exercise, and are not allowed to spend outside. The teachers will earn co-ordination fee of Sh150 per day, a basic fee of Sh1,100, and scripts fee at the rate of Sh55 per script. No examiner is allowed use a mobile phone in the marking rooms.
