KUALA LUMPUR (April 10): Energy services company KJTS Group Bhd (KL:KJTS) on Friday said it has completed the acquisition of a 70.67% stake in specialist engineering firm iHandal Holdings Sdn Bhd. The RM10.1 million cash acquisition was announced on March 5.iHandal focuses on energy efficiency systems, including its proprietary Heatfuse™ technology, which captures and reuses waste heat from industrial processes. The company serves commercial and industrial clients such as hotels, hospitals and manufacturing facilities, with operations spanning Southeast Asia, South Asia, Oceania and North America. In a previous filing, KJTS said the acquisition would strengthen its existing cooling energy management and building support services business, while expanding its capabilities in energy optimisation solutions. KJTS said the purchase was fully funded using internally generated funds and will not have any impact on its share capital or major shareholding structure.
