Right-arm seamer Kamrul was in inspired form as he conceded just 24 runs in 16.1 overs, including five maidens, to skittle Sylhet out for only 86 in 43.1 overs. In what was a shambolic batting display, only three Sylhet batters reached double digit. Sylhet cut the lead down to 118 after posting 27 for two in 11 overs at stumps. Dhaka’s Sumon Khan picked up five wickets leaking 50 runs in his 27 overs, featuring nine maidens, while Salauddin Shakil bagged a couple. Tanbir Hayder scored the highest 64 for Rangpur while Sohrawardi Shuvo and Naeem Islam chipped in with 50 and 48 respectively.
