Karl Rove and David Axelrod brought us Bush and Obama. Now they’ve teamed up to give lessons in campaigning

Rove, master Republican strategist behind the George W. Bush administration in the 2000s, lost his mother to suicide when he was 30. Karl Rove and David Axelrod, strategists who worked in the Bush and Obama presidential administrations, presented a five-hour-long contribution to the Master Class series, an online education series from celebrity teachers. When it comes to art, for instance, Rove and Axelrod talk about how much thought goes into slogans and logos.
