Kogi government to partner CBN on women empowerment


Kogi State Government has reiterated its readiness in partnering the Central Bank of Nigeria to empower women and youths of the state in agriculture. The Senior Adviser to Kogi State governor on Agriculture, David Apeh who was represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Emmanuel Idenyin made the statement when he led the state delegation to Ojakpata in Ankpa local government council of the state. Ojakpata is one of the areas chosen for cassava production. The Permanent Secretary said the state government in its quest to make Kogi State an agricultural hub of the nation in cassava production is partnering with the Central Bank of Nigeria to empower women and youth in the state. Speaking further, the permanent Secretary said the only sector that can empower the populace is agriculture.
