Lead singer Tony Hadley quits Spandau Ballet

LONDON: Frontman Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet has announced that he has left the popular British electronic pop band. In an announcement on Twitter, Hadley said he "will no longer be performing with the band in the future". "Much to our frustration, Tony had made it clear in September 2016 that he didn't want to work with the band anymore. Spandau Ballet, best known for their music in the 1980s, including hits 'True', 'Gold' and 'Through the Barricades', has a history of tension between members. Hadley, Keeble and Norman lost a court battle in 1999 to claim some of those royalties.
