Liberal leader Kevin Vickers and the Liberal caucus have rejected Premier Blaine Higgs proposal to avoid an early election call. Higgs said he accepted that an election would be his decision and he would have to justify it to voters. People's Alliance Leader Kris Austin said he was willing to work with any party that’s willing to work with him. Green Party Leader David Coon said he regretted the turn of events.
