Monrovia – The Speaker of Liberia’s 54th Legislature has named heads and members of the House of Representatives’ standing and statutory committees of various sectors in the country. According to the Director of Communications of the House of Representatives, Isaac Redd, the decision by Speaker Bhofal Chambers was made in consultation with Deputy Speaker Representative Prince Moye of Bong County. Representative Munah Pennah heads the committee on executive, while her fellow Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) lawmaker, Hon. The House of Representatives has 36 committees, and according to Mr. Redd, more names are expected o be announced to other committees in the coming days.
