The legal representative of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, Omar Abubakr Al-Dulaimi, met on Wednesday with the United Kingdom's Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, at the ambassador's request. The Authority stated that the meeting addressed strengthening joint cooperation in the areas of governance and combating corruption, reviewing the standards of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, and discussing a number of proposals and view points that could contribute to improving institutional oversight work both locally and internationally. The meeting was attended on the British side by Rob Mack, Director of the National Crime Agency, and several heads of offices and departments at the UK Embassy. On the Libyan side, it was attended by the head of the Communication and International Relations Committee of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.
