The authorities are employing helicopters, drones and thermal imaging cameras to track the whereabouts of the animal. An earlier suggested sighting in the Zehlendorf district within Berlin's borders was later debunked as a false lead.Fire services in Brandenburg have theorized that the large animal is likely a lioness.
