Three finalists from the longlist of the Literature Prize of the German Economy 2026 will present their works, share insights into their creative processes, and discuss the backgrounds of their literary endeavors. Actors from the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble will perform selected passages, blending reading with scenic representation. Following the reading, the jury--which includes Barbara Mundel (Intendantin of Münchner Kammerspiele), Maryam Aras (author and literary critic), Dr. Ronald Düker (literary critic), and members of the Literature Committee of the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft--will select the award winner for 2026, with the result announced that same evening. The Literature Prize of the German Economy honors outstanding literary voices of our time.
