Lithuania has for the first time since 2020, accepted two refugees as part of the EU relocation scheme in force since 2015. An Eritrean family of two has been relocated to the Baltic country, Lithuanian public broadcaster LRT and Ramūnas Jakubauskas report. The last time refugees were moved to Lithuania as part of the EU relocation programme was late in 2020. Thus far, the Baltic country has accepted 506 people.
