PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Tuesday raided several locations simultaneously in connection to the Great Alonioners Trading Corporation Bhd (Gatco) scheme. Four MACC officers raided Thamarai Holdings Sdn Bhd at Wisma Lotus off Jalan Utara here. Another two MACC officers raided the NUPW office at Gasing Indah at about 10.25am on Tuesday, and a third man, presumably an MACC officer, entered the office at about 10.45am. MACC officers are also expected to raid the Negri Sembilan Development Corporation later Tuesday. The conflict over the ownership of the Kampung Gatco land hails back to 1977, when Gatco was incorporated.
