The young oneAged 21, Amika George is the youngest to receive an honour this year. Miss George was made an MBE for her campaign to provide schoolgirls with free sanitary products – which she launched when she was 17. The former Royal Engineer took up cycling when mental health problems sent his weight soaring to 18 stone. He has since pedalled more than 65,000 miles in countries including Myanmar and Zambia. Mrs Hoskyn, who was awarded an OBE, said she wanted to ‘normalise chatting to strangers’.
