MANILA, Philippines — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Sarangani province on Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. ADVERTISEMENTAn initial report from Phivolcs indicated that the tremor’s epicenter was detected 51 kilometers south of Sarangani at a depth of 185 kilometers.
