Photo: Maidenhead United FC--Boreham Wood 1, Maidenhead United 0Maidenhead United have dropped a couple of places to 14th after losing a game they should have handsomely won against Boreham Wood this afternoon. In the 18th minute, Ashmore made the first of a series of fine saves as he dived low to his right to keep out Sho-Silva’s snapshot. Having brought on McCoulsky for Sho-Silva and Chanka Zimba for Nathaniel-George for the final 20 minutes, the Magpies came again. He chested the ball down and volleyed goalwards, but Ashmore was there again, turning the ball onto the post and the Wood survived. Incredibly, given the disparity in quality on show, Boreham Wood moved above the Magpies off the back of this win.
