On public finance, the MP stated that Afram Plains South has recently received significantly higher development funding, allowing previously stalled projects to resume. “President Mahama has demonstrated strong commitment to development in Afram Plains South. Over GHS18 million has been allocated to Afram Plains South for developmental projects an immense improvement compared to the GH¢300,000 received in 2024 under the previous Nana Akufo-Addo-led government,” he stated. Appiah Boateng urged Minority Members of Parliament to acknowledge what he described as the country’s economic progress under President Mahama or remain silent.
